Become a Nurse with our Direct Entry MSN Program
Start your path to a fulfilling and rewarding nursing career with the JoAnn McGrath School of Nursing and Health Professions at Alverno College.
Our Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing (DEMSN) program prepares you to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in as few as 18 months of full-time study. Designed for graduates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field, the DEMSN gives you the opportunity to enter the nursing profession with a master’s degree.
We also have a new CCE located in Mesa, AZ.
We take a unique abilities-based approach to learning — one that measures what you can do as well as what you know. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll develop advanced clinical knowledge and leadership and advocacy capabilities. You’ll graduate prepared to treat patients, lead health care teams and promote well-being for all.
You’ll also be positioned to advance to post-master’s study, including advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) certification programs or a doctoral program in nursing (PhD or DNP). With the Direct Entry MSN, you can establish the foundation of a meaningful and rewarding career.
Alverno College’s Direct Entry MSN equips you to provide holistic, evidence-based patient care and empowers you for future leadership and policy advocacy.
